About us - About Us

Stockton Cricket Club was established in 1816 and moved to its current ground at Grangefield in 1891.

We currently field three senior teams at weekends in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Divisions of the Dukes North East Premier League. In addition, we have a total of four junior teams across all age categories: U11s, U13s, U15s and U17s, together with a Ladies team. We also have Cricket Coaching on Friday nights from 6-8pm for boys & girls aged 6-11.

We have ECB Clubmark status, a prestigious, nationally accepted accreditation. This requires us to present evidence and demonstrate implementation across four different themes, culminating in the production of a Club Development Plan, and demonstrating the commitment to safeguard children when enjoying cricket.

Originally founded in 1957, the social club is an integral part of Stockton Cricket Club. Our excellent bar is open 7 days a week and is the focal point where members and non-members alike meet and enjoy a drink, a game of dominoes, darts, pool, watch sport on the large screen televisions or simply enjoy good company and conversation. Our function room (The Lake Room) can accommodate up to 150 guests and is available to hire at attractive rates for all private and corporate events. To make enquiries about hiring The Lake Room contact Mrs Moira Watchman by email or on 01642 870650 or 01642 656305. To view availability of dates click here.
