U12s v Richmondshire - 5 June 2012
Another win for the U12s
Stockton u12’s travelled to Richmondshire looking for their fourth league victory.
Captain for the day Adam Graham won the toss and elected to bat. Stockton were quick off the mark with Kane Stringer once again showing his ability with the bat, posting 17 runs including two 4's and a six!
James Hunter (20) and Sam Ions (12) kept the scoreboard ticking along with some fine shots registering six 4's between them; but it was a fine batting display from Louie Burdon, with an individual score of 25 including three 4’s and a six, which helped register Stockton a score of 311 for the loss of 3 wickets (net 287).
Bowling has been the u12’s strength so far this season, and once again the bowlers went to work with wickets from Stringer (3), Burdon, Ions and Ethan Fordy, assisted by a run out left Richmondshire on a score of 273 for the loss of 7 wickets (net 217), resulting in a 70 run victory for Stockton.
