U16 Indoor Boys Qualify for National Finals
Stockton Hockey Club U16 Boys Indoor team have qualified for the National Indoor finals for the 5th year in a row!!
Congratulation to the Boys under 16’s indoor side who have qualified yet again to the National Indoor finals.
They competed in the Northern Finals in Hull on December the 18th and the results are below:
Group
Lost 2-1 v Ben Rhydding
Won 2-0 v Preston
Won 5-1 v York
Won 4-0 v Driffield
Semi-final
Won 2 -0 v Doncaster
Final
Drew 1-1 v Ben Rhydding. Stockton had all the possession and should have won but unfortunately they lost on penalties 3-1.
Scorers for Stockton were:
Jay Grainge 7 goals
Matt Butters 3 goals
Dan Amin 1 goal
Joe Casson 4 goals
The team qualified as the second placed Northern side and now progress to the National Finals to be held in Wolverhampton over the weekend 21st/22nd January.
They competed in the Northern Finals in Hull on December the 18th and the results are below:
