Thornaby take the lead in the 2nd half to put a further 2 past the stricken stokesley squad


Thornaby took on Stokesley sports club fc at Broughton road and to be honest both teams looked equal.

Thornaby took the lead before the half with an easy goal from the right side which bounced just before the side volley hit the back of the net.

Stokesley got the equaliser just 5 minutes later when a corner came in, cleared to the stand end, put back in and side volley from Robinson, stumbled and Hodgson came in for the slide

Kickoff and once again it was end to end however thornaby took the lead with atleast 15 minutes to go which was a lack of defence

They eventually got their 3rd just 2 minutes later which seen off stokesley once again.
