Stoneham RFC are feeling a little ambitious this year, not only are we competing in Hampshire 2, not only are we competing in the Gales Hampshire Plate, but we thought we would have a crack at a national competition as well. The draw has been made and we will face either the Metropolitan Police RFC or Reigate RFC at home on the 15th October.
This does clash with the Hampshire Plate match against the University of Southampton, however, we will request that the plate match be moved to the Sunday and we will attempt to play twice on that weekend. This year Stoneham RFC is all about challenge, challenging ourselves and the opposition.
There is a high level of confidence through the club and we are relishing the oppurtunity to show our talents on a larger stage, we might not win the tournament, but we will try our best.
lets go for it lads
