As you may have seen or heard the seniors lost 81-7 away to promotion contenders Garioch. As a brief summary the opposition moved the ball well and as well as some impressive offloading from their backs, the work rate of their forwards, most notably to set-up very wide from the ruck, proved too much for Stornoway to stop.

That being said 81-7 perhaps doesn't do the boys justice. The work and at parts in the first half the defensive organisation shown, coupled with the desire to carry hard in attack meant that post-match the squad could be proud of the way they played . Something that hasn't always been the case this season after such results.

This weekend it's Garioch who make the long journey to us though. After missing the weekends away game we hope to have some of the key members from the Ellon win back in action for the home game. The match will be down at Bayhead of course and until we hear differently Kick off will be at 3 but keep an eye out incase that changes.
