STOW 59 DRIFTERS 0
Stow finished their season with a good win against a very spirited Drifters side.
An early penalty from Dave Hill put Stow 3 points up before a slick move down the right flank saw TED HOLMES score with Dave Hill converting. JAMES HOLMES then opened his account with two quick tries, both converted by Hill leaving Stow 24 points to nil up at them break. Drifters to their credit never gave up and were unlucky not to get onto the score sheet. A change at scrum half saw BRADLEY WRENCH come on and score two tries both being converted by James Holmes, then Wrench set up DAVE HILL to score which he also converted. Next came the best try of the day, the ball was worked from deep inside the Stow half through several pairs of hands with TOM ROSE touching down and Hill adding the extras. The final try came from a quickly taken penalty with TED HOLMES scampering over the line and Hill converting. In all eight tries scored and all being converted. With the performance last week against Buckingham and this display a good end to the season.
