St Peters have players from the 4 provinces of Ireland and are a very socialable bunch. Transport to and from Training/Matches can be arranged If looking for work in the area we will try our best to help you Are you attending University in the NorthWest St Peters have players from Universitys all over the NorthWest mainly Manchester University, Salford University and Manchester Met. St Peters were involved in the starting up of a Manchester Universitys team which takes part int he Annual British Universitys Championships in Birmingham. If you are still playing for your Club back home you are still welcome to join St Peters to train, and you will still be elidgable to take part in the League Competitions. Moving to the North West to work The core of the St Peters team are made up of Irish lads who move to the Northwest to work, alot of the lads attended University in the area and stayed on to work. If you are intending on moving to the NW to work and you would also like to play some Gaelic Football then you would be more than welcome to come and join St Peters GAA. If you are still playing for your Club back home you are still welcome to join St Peters to train, and you will still be elidgable to take part in the League Competitions. Interested? St Peters have 2 teams a Junior and a Senior which both compete in there respected Championships and also Leagues. The Leagues usually start around March. The Junior Championship is usually played between June and August. The Senior Championship is played between roughly July and October. The winners of the Senior Championship enters the All Britain Intermediate Championship where they play the London Intermediate Champions and the Senior Champions from everyother county in a knock out system, usually finishing around November. The winners of the All Britain(St Peters 2004) then go on to take part in the All Ireland Junior Club Championships.
