The Stratford U9's are in to their third season of rugby now and are going well. We have a great squad of players and parents who all have a lot of fun, even when the weather is challenging. All of our coaches are RFU qualified and CRB checked.
New players are welcome to join our training sessions at any time during the season for up to four weeks before registering & paying subscriptions. If you have never played before, don't worry. We will teach you what you need to know so you can be involved in matches in no time.
All of our players must be registered with the club and have paid their subscription before playing in any matches to comply with our club's insurance requirements.
This is now a contact age group so mouth guards must be worn. Body armour and scrum caps are entirely optional but are more useful for keeping players warm rather than providing protection so you can spend your money elsewhere! One thing we do require is all players need safety studs in their boots. This excludes any football boots with blades.
