Minis - Team News
Strathaven v Dalziel Sat 27th Oct
Saturday 27th October we have a home fixture against Dalziel RFC a regular match for our Minis. They will be sending 5 teams so we will have games for every age group. Kick-off will be 1030 hrs so please arrive before 10am (P6 please be there at 0945).
P6 and P7 will be playing their matches on the far away pitch. If you are spectating these games please keep well back from the touchline as it can take a hammering if people stand right on the lines. P4 and P5 will be playing in the space between the two pitches. P1-3 will play in front of the clubhouse. Players, please bring your own drinks and remember that no dirty kit is allowed in the clubhouse lounge so you need to have a change of clothes for after the game. You can help the Club by stopping any kids that you see wandering into the lounge wearing dirty gear.
No gumshield = no game, so please ensure the kids don't forget it.
As before for home matches we would really appreciate any home baking you can provide and your help in the kitchen if possible. If you can I would encourage all parents to stay at the Club to watch the games and support the kids and the Club.
Note that our U18 team has a home fixture against Waysiders/Drumpellier kicking-off at 2pm and our First XV against Strathendrick at 3pm so help in tidying-up after the Minis games would be appreciated.
Thanks.
