Annual General Meeting - Thursday the 31st of May 7pm

AGM Final Reminder!

Club Members,

Just a final reminder about our annual Annual General Meeting (AGM) which is taking place at 7pm at the club house tomorrow evening (Thursday the 31st of May).

For those of you that don't know what happens at the AGM it is the club's opportunity to tell you what's been happening at the club in the past season. The meeting includes:

• Updates on all age groups performances during the season via updates from our Youth Development Officer's & Club Captain.
• Financial updates from the treasurer and accountant.
• House & Grounds conveners reports detailing the improvements that have been made to the clubhouse and its surrounding areas during the season.
• Social convenors report providing information on club events and functions that have taken place in the past season and events we have booked for the upcoming season.
• An update from our membership secretary.
• A report from our Club President.
• Election of the new committee, should you wish to put your name forward or someone else who you feel would be able to represent the club on the committee then this is your chance.
• Any questions or queries that you may have on anything Strathaven Rugby Club related can be asked at the meeting
• Any suggestions that you have to improve the club can also be voiced at the AGM.

There are various members of the committee who WILL be standing down this year and we WILL require replacements in order to run the club efficiently. At the AGM every position on the committee can be applied for all you have to do is be nominated or nominate yourself for the position you want.

The AGM is essential to the running of Strathaven Rugby Club, without our members continued support the club cannot move forward so please attend the AGM and do your bit for the club.

If you've had any problem with the way the club has been run, any suggestions to improve the club, want to be part of the Committee for the upcoming season or want to see something done differently then this is your chance to voice your opinion and have your suggestions heard!

Regards,

Colin Dalgarno (Chunk)
Strathaven RFC Vice Club Captain
