This Saturday the 31st of March our first 1XV face off against Oban in what will be a crucial final match. If we win we are safe for another year in West Division 2, if we loose we will face relegation to West Division 3 next season. The game is at Strathaven RFC and kicks off at 3pm.
As always we need your support to help us through the game, so far this season the support has been excellent for home and away games alike, but for one last time this season we request your help this weekend. It makes a huge difference having your support on the sidelines and gives all the boys an extra push to perform each week.
This season has had its difficulties for the team with such a small pool of players available for selection but in the vast majority of our games we’ve played the best rugby by far and are constantly moving forward as a team. This weekend we look for a win to secure our position in West Division 2 in order to prove ourselves next season in our campaign to win the league.
So once again the 1XV are appealing to all minis, midis, U16’s, parents, committee members, social club members, ex-players, club supporters and anyone else you can bring along to come and support us for the last game of the season, it makes a huge difference to us having a large 16th player standing on the side lines to cheer us on, and we all view our support as the best in the league.
A massive thanks to everyone who has supported the 1XV this season, and thanks in advance to all those who come along this weekend to cheer us on in our final fixture.
