Strathaven Rugby Club Annual Stag Dinner - 21st of April 2012

The annual Stag Dinner will be held at Strathaven Rugby Club on Saturday the 21st of April the club will be open from 7pm and the event will start at 7:30pm sharp and as always the dress code will be formal.

We have two excellent speakers this year; the first will be former Scotland International & British Lion Peter Wright who also coached the Glasgow Hawks also worked his way up to the position of Director of Rugby at the club. Peter's in depth knowledge of Rugby and experience's off the park will make for both an interesting and entertaining speech. The second speaker of the evening is comedian and entertainer Les Peters. Les provides hilarious speeches and entertainment up and down the country and will provide us with some after dinner hilarity while refreshments are enjoyed.

The traditional 1XV prize giving will also take place on the evening and Mark Hall our current club captain will provide the club captains speech. No doubt a few stories from this season and seasons past will be brought up for the hilarity of most and embarrassment of other.

Tickets are £35.00 for adults and £25.00 for under 21's and students, the event is open to all male members over 18 and guests are welcome, but should be signed in on arrival. Tables can also be booked through the club on 01357 529606 but are subject to availability.
