W3st Project Update

Afternoon All,

Well as you can see from the uploaded photos care of a very cold Sandy Innes and his drone that the project is nearing completion, but I think we can all agree that the pitch is looking fantastic from above no matter what angle it is taken at.

The Malcolm's boys have been working in all weathers, after all it is Strathaven we are talking about here, to get the pitch and surrounding area completed.
We are still looking at mid to end February for completion and handover to the Whiteshawgate 3G Sports Trust as there are still a few things needing done like the rugby markings painted on which is all weather dependant as well as a few finishing touches.

So it won't be long till Strathaven RFC and Strathaven Dynamos feel the full benefit of having the 3G pitch

But a word of warning to all the parents of kids that will be playing on the 3G pitch no matter whether it's rugby of football please be ready for sand and silica being in your cars, homes and washing machines for the foreseeable future
