First kicking off at midday the Scottish champions and current league leaders Aberdeen Warriors will play second in the league Ayrshire Storm. Aberdeen haven't lost a league game since August 2012 but struggled past an improving Ayrshire side in Kilmarnock back in June, winning 38-22. Since then Ayrshire have beaten both Glasgow and Edinburgh as the new players have started to gel.

The open trial for this years Scotland A side consists of training following the league game and a trial match kicking off at 3pm.
