Lions Tour
A tour is being put together for players and supporters of Stroud RFC to watch the British Lions in Australia in 2013.
We are putting this together now in order to give tourists the time to gather the funds required for this once in a life time experience.
We plan to hire luxury motor homes so we can travel around checking out the sights we want to and have the freedom to plan our very own itinary.
We will follow the Lions in their 3 match test series against the Ozzies throughout June and July without being tied to a travel company.
Depending on how many 'seriously' want to get involved depends on the number of motor homes with the driving being shared amongst the tourists. These can be arranged as 4 berth or 6 berth.
An initial costing for the tour will only be around £2000 per person.
This will include:
Flights
Hire of the luxury motor home (inc. taxes, insurance and fuel)
Test match tickets
Food and Drink
Tour shirt
Each tourist will be required to set up their own 'tour' account with a minimum monthly amount of £50 being paid starting January 2011.
