Opportunities to sponsor Stroud RFC.
As a local rugby club, local sponosrship is invaluable to Stroud RFC - the support of local businesses helps keep us going year after year.
If you would like to get involved in sponsorship, we have a number of opportunities available.
Match day sponsorship packages
Gold – 1st team games
At each home game that our 1st team plays, we offer what is known as a ‘match day sponsorship’. The cost of this is very competitive, at only £350. For that, you will get:
- Exclusive use of the members bar before the game and for half an hour after
- 30 free tickets to allow you, plus guests, to watch the match (this includes parking)
- A buffet of your choice before kick off
- Tea and coffee at half time
- A dedicated member of the rugby club to welcome you and look after you and your guests
- A write up in the match day programme
- Your company name displayed on welcome boards and throughout the game on the day of your sponsorship
- A mention in the match report in the Stroud News and Journal
- Confirmation as the match sponsor on the Stroud website
- Recognition from local people as a company that cares about sport in the area
Silver – 2nd team and Colts games
At each home game played by our seconds or Colts (under 18’s) teams we can also offer match day sponsorship. This is at a lower rate due to the slightly lower profile of these games. The cost for sponsorship for the day is £250 and this includes:
- Exclusive use of the members bar before the game
- 20 free tickets to allow you, plus guests, to watch the match (this includes parking)
- A buffet of your choice before kick off
- Tea and coffee at half time
- A dedicated member of the rugby club to welcome you and look after you and your guests
- An announcement over the tanoy at the beginning of the game
- Confirmation as the match sponsor on the Stroud website
- Recognition from local people as a company that cares about sport in the area
Bronze – Ball sponsor
Should you not wish to take up the gold or silver level sponsorship, your company can be an allocated ‘ball sponsor’ for the day. At a cost of £100, you will get:
- Ten tickets to the game
- A mention in the match day programme
- An announcement over the tanoy at the beginning of the game
Board advertising
If you would like to place a company advertisement around the sides of the pitch at Fromehall Park, this can be done at a very competitive price.
Depending on specific size and design, the first year will cost:
- Between £125 and £150 for production of the board.
- £75 to keep the board up for the season
For all subsequent years, there will be a charge of £100
