Bee’s management team warm against complacency

STUDLEY joints managers Kev Kingham and Ade Mander say the club cannot become complacent after Saturdays victory over Cadbury Athletic made it 4 straight victories in the league.

The club sit 7th in the table with 29 points from 15 matches in the MFL 1st division after an impressive run during October and November.

Kingham said the club had performed well over the last month, but the aim must now be to kick on again.

“All that matters is this club continues to progress in the same way it has over the past month or so” Kingham told the Bees Official website.

Mander said he would have liked the side to have “three or four more points on the board” at this stage of the season, but hailed the change at the club.

“We all want the best for the club, but we have been in a period of change and rebuilding.” He said

“Sometimes people need to remember that. We've asked the lads to take on board our ideas and they've responded brilliantly……should we step back and be thankful? Yes, but we cannot become complacent.”
