History
Sungate Fc are now in their 8th season after forming in 2003 as a break away from club from Toby Fc who are also still going to date. The club was formed as a family run club for family oriented people and started there life in the Essex Business House's League with a 1st team and reserves. Since that first season the club at its peak boasted an incredible 6 Sides. Included in this was 4 Saturday sides, 1 Sunday side and also a youth side. The club took the hard decision this season 2011/12 to go back to its roots and slim it's saturday sides down to just 2 the 1st Team and a Veterans team. With a lot of hard work the club is hoping to re-build the club to its former glories having only two remaining members from our original 1st team still at the club and many new young players.
