Yesterday the sun was shining so that meant only one thing Rugby League is back . Both the U15 & U13's set of nice and early to head to Richmond to play in the season opening 9's Festival and what a great day it turned out to be. The U15's had some tough matches and came up against teams fielding mostly U15 players and believe me there are some big lads at that age group. The team although coming out on the wrong side of the results more than showed that this season in a 60 minute game they have the skill and fitness to beat anyone out there. Very well done to all U15's very proud of your performances.

The U13's also had some tough teams to play against and with a lot of the squad moving up from the U11's this was their first taste of junior rugby but they did exceptionally well. Although they lost the first game they went all the way to the final to beat St Albans and win the final and claiming the London Junior League 9's Tournament at U13's. I was lucky enough to watch the final and they will also have a great season. A very well done and massive thankyou to all parents who without your help the players wouldn't be able to play. Fantastic effort from ALL the players at both age groups and also to the Coaching Staff at each age group. Roll on Monday when the fixtures come out and let's make this season a cracker.
