The partnership will see the Aftercare brand feature on the playing and training kit of the Sussex Merlins Open age team, on post protectors and pitch side along with featuring on all social media platforms, match day communications and the player of the match trophy. The partnership will also see the Sussex Merlins brand appear on the Aftercare website.
Launched in 1997 Aftercare are a family business that has grown over their 20 years to be the leading provider in Sussex and the surrounding areas to cater specifically and solely for the repair and maintenance of double glazed windows doors and conservatories.
Commenting on the partnership Managing Director of Aftercare Brian Morgan said – in 2017 we are celebrating our 20th anniversary and I wanted to do something different to the traditional marketing activities we’ve done in the past. I was struck by how passionate Nick and the team were about developing their club to enable people from across the county to be part of something. It immediately struck a chord with our own values where we focus on delivering an engaged and positive customer experience. I’m delighted that we can work with the Sussex Merlins to mutual benefit.
Sussex Merlins Chairman Nick Weston added, to have Aftercare on board is a real coup for us as a club, this is their first venture into sports sponsorship. Making it all the more pleasing is the fact that Aftercare were brought to us by one of our coaches, Charlie Mears who has been a part of the club for over 5 years. His commitment and passion are fundamentals of what we do here at the Merlins. Now its on with the delivery of what has been a long winter off season to make 2017 the biggest one yet for the Sussex Merlins.
