On Friday the 7th August we held a Coaches meeting to discuss the best way to move the club forward for next season regarding what age groups we will run.

It was discussed at the meeting that we will run the following age groups next season and this was agreed unanimously by all in attendance.
We will aim to run U7 & U9 should the demand be there for this age group as we won't turn players away.
We will run U11's , U13 & U15's, this will make sure that we have a strong player pathway for each age group. This will make sure that players can all play in a team for 2016 and will enjoy the challenge of playing some older players. This gives the younger age group players in each age group a year of playing rugby with and against older players and also will give them a good experience for the following season when they become the older players.
Our aim is to make sure all players can play Rugby League for the Sussex Merlin's and enjoy the game.
