Assistant manager Neil Tooth says there will be at least one new player for tomorrows game against Kidsgrove. Toothy told the website, "Gareth Johnson will definitely be in tomorrows squad and we are hoping to tie up another signing before the 11 am deadline tomorrow. We feel we have given the current squad every opportunity and enough time to perform to the standards we require but it just has not happened and our only option is to get some new players in. We toyed with the idea of throwing in some of the under 21s but we decided that thats not really fair on the young lads to make the step up and be thrown straight in and be expected to perform".
Asked about the clubs task in making it into the play offs Toothy said, "We are not thinking about the play offs. At the minute we are concentrating purely on getting back into some form and playing well again. If we sort that out then maybe in 5 or 6 games time we can have a look and see where we are but at the minute its not in our thoughts at all. Maybe that will take a little pressure off all of us and we can start to enjoy our football again. One thing we have always had at Sutton is a good lively dressing room but at the minute we are all flat and down due to our inconsistent form but im sure a few wins will sort that out and hopefully that will start tomorrow".
