Jack Dyer joins the Royals

Jack came through Aston Villa's youth system and was signed by Burton Albion in 2010. He made his professional debut on 26 March 2011, starting in their 3–0 away loss to Oxford United in League Two. Dyer scored his first goal against Barnet in a 6–3 win on 29 October 2011. He later went on a months loan to Kidderminster Harriers where he made 2 league appearances as well as 3 FA Cup appearances, 2 substitute appearances in the 3rd round against Peterborough United and playing 82 minutes in the narrow 4th round 1-0 away loss to Sunderland. On 31 January he was re-called by Burton and moved onto Nuneaton last season. He spent some time out on loan at Hednesford Town before signing for Tamworth in March of this year.

Royals manager Neil Tooth had the following to say about his new recruit, “Jack will be a fantastic addition to the squad. We needed to bring in some new faces before Saturdays game and im delighted Jack has agreed to sign. He has bundles of experience even though he is only 25. With Jack being a Sutton lad it’s a good fit for both parties and im really looking forward to seeing him in action.”

From all at Sutton, “WELCOME TO THE ROYALS JACK”
