It's the second time we play Hyde in a week on Saturday

This Saturday ( weather permitting ) - and its doubtful at the moment, the Royals travel up the M6 to Hyde in the Manchester area for a reverse fixture to the home game last week. It was a disappointing result and performance after the good run we have been having. However that's 5 games unbeaten with 3 wins and 2 draws and another clean sheet.
We talked to 1st team manager Toothy after training on Thursday who had this to say:-
" I fully expect tomorrow's game to be totally different to Saturday's as both sides had players missing and obviously the conditions and pitch will play a huge part. We were really disappointed with the result last week and felt it was an opportunity missed and Hyde left delighted with a point and I suppose in doing that, they took the incentive back with them as they will now fancy themselves at home. The biggest disappointment for me was that I wanted them to go away with a lot to think about in the build up to the return, but I don't think we did that. Granted we had players missing, but so did they, so we can't use that as an excuse as we still had more than enough on the pitch to win the game. On the flip side,we all know that was one of our poorest performances of the season, so tomorrow, we know we can all do much better and if Hyde are expecting the same level of performance from us then they will be surprised. The lads have worked really hard in training this week and the spirit and togetherness in the camp at the minute is as good as it's ever been in my time in charge and we are all fully focussed on climbing the League".
