Royals host play off favourites.

Neil Tooth's side welcome Mickleover Sports to Coles Lane tomorrow (Saturday) with the Derbyshire side only needing 1 point to confirm their place in the play offs. The Royals are the only side capable of catching Mickleover as we sit 9 points behind with 3 games to go and level on goal difference so a win for Sutton tomorrow could put some pressure on the Sports going into the final 2 games.

Royals manager Neil Tooth had this to say, "I fully expect Mickleover to get the required points they need from their remaining 3 games but they know tomorrow is going to be very hard for them as we are not going to roll over. To be honest im delighted we are going into the last 7 days of the season still in with a chance however small it is and that is credit to the players who have been playing some fantastic stuff recently. Ill be honest I didn't think Mickleover would be top 5 when we played them at their place in August but they have invested heavily and they are paying some serious money for this level and that shows as their squad is full of players capable of playing 2 or 3 levels above. Iv always said regardless of budget if you have a team at the top of any league you are doing a good job and if Mickleover get into the play offs then fair play to them as over the season they have deserved it."

After getting a fantastic win at Brigg with a very depleted squad we asked Toothy if numbers were looking better for tomorrow ? "We have Stuart McNaught and Graham Deakin back in the squad but Dean Perrow and Reece Leek are still unavailable through injury so im afraid the fans will not get to see Lee Evans up front again this week." said Tooth.

Kick Off Tomorrow is 3pm

Please come and support the Royals.
