Manager Neil Tooth commented after the game: "We didnt expect Tamworth to bring many First Team players, given the fact they had a great win at Woking on Saturday and play Newport County this saturday. However, credit where credit is due, this squad that Tamworth sent over more than competed. They were organised and hungry and one of the strongest Under 19 sides Ive seen for a very long time."
"I was pleased with my players though, they competed and didnt take Tamworth lightly. I was pleased to be able to bring in players and give a couple of players the night off after the run of games we`ve had this season."
"We now regroup and focus on the Coalville game on Saturday, which will be our biggest test of the season so far, against the league leaders."
