Tooth left fuming over lack of respect

Royals manager Neil Tooth said he is fuming over an article from the Blyth manager following his sides 1-0 defeat to the Royals on Saturday.

Tooth had the following to say, "I was staggered when I read his (Tom Wade) comments this morning. I am used to managers bleating on about our pitch when we beat them but for him to call my players average for me is a total lack of respect. He needs to remember that these so called average players have turned his side over twice. I get the lets blame the pitch get out that managers use when we beat them but its a bit of a stupid remark when we also beat them at their place on grass but we probably only won their as they had an off day in his eyes. My players work hard and they are an honest bunch and I wont have anybody slate them publicly. Tom needs to remember that these average players still have to go to Darlington and Salford so could have a massive say in helping them win the league but he is that sure of himself he probably doesn't need any favours from anyone else."
