Royals Sign Weller

Right Back Lyndon Weller has signed form neighbours Boldmere St Michaels as Chris Keogh makes changes.

Chris Keogh hopes Lyndon Weller will be the first of 3 new signings this week as he looks to change his sides fortunes.

"We hope Lyndon will not be the only new face we get in this week," said Keogh. "We put 7 days in on 3 players last week and they are up now so we will be talking to another 2 lads in the next few days in the hope of getting them in before the weekend. Lyndon has done well against us when ever he has played and he was rated very highly at Boldmere. Rob Mallaband (Boldmere manager) has been fantastic and he let us talk to Lyndon last week and then he was involved with us on Saturday."

"Its no good moping around and feeling sorry for ourselves so we will be looking to add to the squad. At the very least we have 12 games to look at players for next season and if that works out and we go on a good run of wins who knows but our focus is not on the play offs at all".

Asked about any players leaving Keogh said, "There will be some moving on yes. We will be sitting down over the next week or so and deciding who we want to keep for next season and who can move on. We will be honest with the players we dont want as we dont want to stitch any of them up and if they can line something up elsewhere then we will let them go."
