Phil, Steve and I have been very busy over the last few weeks talking to players about joining us next season. So far we have had 6 new players agree to join us next season and we are waiting on 3 others to get back to us. We have also got 2 coming in with a view to signing for us so we are really pleased with how it’s going. We are really happy that with the players we have kept from last season and the new lads coming in we will have a very good young squad that will hopefully excite the fans.

I’m always sheepish when it comes to putting names out until the forms are signed but one name I’m happy to share with you who is returning to the club is Jordan Nadat. Jordan has done fantastically well for me in recent years and I’m delighted he has agreed to rejoin us.

Unfortunately both Justin Richards and Danny OCallaghan have decided to move on. I always knew it would be difficult to keep Justin as his form towards the end of last year was as good as any forward in the league and the offer he has accepted is a very good one. I was hopeful of keeping Danny as I thought it was time for him to stay and settle down with us and lead the young squad we are building but I understand his reasons for leaving and he is joining a good club so as always we wish them both the best.

Our pre season is now all confirmed and I think we have a very good mix of games against clubs that will all test us and the work we are doing now is putting together the sessions along with Phil and Steve as we count down the days to the start of pre season training.
