Having progressed from the local heats held at Star City Birmingham a month ago, yesterday saw the team compete in the Regional Semi Finals in Bristol. A 100% record in the four team group stage saw us safely into the quarter final knock out stage. A comfortable 4-1 win in the quarters saw us meet Chippenham Futsal FC in the semi final. Despite dominating most of the game, the scores finished level and went to a penalty shoot out. Keeper Callum Hayward was the hero, saving the first spot kick and Will West, Dan Hurst and Ben Cadwallader held their nerve to convert all 3 of our penalties to send us into the final. The final saw us meet a Somerset based outfit who we had beaten in the group stages and despite going behind, two goals from Dan Hurst and one from Will West gave us a 3-1 win and wrapped up the tournament.

We now go through to the National Finals in a months time, being one of 8 teams from the length and breadth of the Country competing to be crowned Champions on FA Cup Final day at Wembley!

The competition is sure to be tough at this stage, but with this years finals being held in Birmingham we will be giving it our best shot!
