SCR Sunday A lose final league game.

1 month ago By Gary Brigden

Despite their best efforts, Justin Salmon's Sunday A side went down to a 3-1 defeat against AFC Rio in their final game of the season.

However, our goal from Joe Marshall meant that Rio only beat us by two goals, and lost the league title to AFC United by one goal goal difference (AFC United being +24 and AFC Rio +23).

It has been a decent season for Justin's lads who have finished the season in fifth spot.

They are the only side in the division to have beaten the eventual winners AFC United, doing the double against them with a 2-1 win at Hannibal and a 1-0 win away from home.
