Biggest win of the season gearing up for Eastwood game
Clinical snipes put Blidworth to the sword
Snipes put 7 past blidworth to record biggest win of the season.
Sutton recorded there biggest win of the season to date with the 7 - 1 victory over visitors Blidworth MW. The game ended on a sour note for Sutton with dismissal late on of top goal scorer Andy White which means he could miss our big clash with Eastwood Town a week this tues.
A well taken brace for Craig Mitchell, a bullet header from Jay Edwards, a thunder bolt 35 yarder from skipper Nathan Hollingworth, and a clinical Andy White hat-trick were the goal scorers for sutton and a Chris Shelton goal blidworth. The game was marred by 4 sending offs 2 from either side, Alex Wilford and Carl Gould for Blidworth and Craig Buchanan and Andy White for the snipes. Dean Short spoke after the game 'This was a great win for the team and well deserved, the sending off's for us were very disappointing as it could rule them out for the Eastwood game, I didn't think there were many bad tackles in the game to warrent 4 red cards obviously the ref felt differently'.
