Welcome to Swaffham Rugby Club. My name is Lee Colwell and I have been coaching in the mini section for the last 2 seasons. This year has seen rule changes for this age group which means a much more progressive introduction to contact. This year introduces the tackle, slowly building confidence ready for greater challenges in the coming seasons. Rugby is a great sport and is far more family orientated than most. I would encourage anyone who is interested to come along and give it a try, whatever size shape or gender, all are equally welcome. This age group concentrates more on fun than competition, but there are many fixtures throughout the season for the players to test themselves against other sides. Training is on Sunday mornings starting at 10.30am from 2 Sep 2012.
