Having recently had a major operation at Papworth Hospital, we received the terrible news that Ned has passed away. I was Chairman at the time Ned came to help with the running of the Clubhouse and Bar, and he has been an immense help to all the Chairmen and Committee members that followed over the last 15 years. Much of the work he did was unseen, but invaluable to the well being of the Club. He will be greatly missed.

Update.......
With Saffron Walden 2nd XV having cancelled the proposed league game for this Saturday 28th April, and with the recent tragic loss of our Steward, Ned Abdool we are proposing a memorial game at the Club instead. This will be NEDS XV against Breckland Barbarians and will kick of at 1.30pm at Swaffham RUFC.
ALL PLAYERS old and new are asked to attend if possible for a "social game" in memory of Ned. Please contact either Fish, or text me (07493831120) if you can make it and would like to take part.
Any player from any Club in Norfolk is welcome to join in and celebrate the life of a real Clubman.
