Sam Knoxs photo shows one foot on the ground, but this one clearly shows both feet being lifted. Look at the position of the tacklers right arm - he's lifting him!
Mr Newell, an excellent tackle if a little dangerous, especially considering health & safety.
I would have been proud of that one John.
The first picture would suggest that the ball carrier's shoulders are still higher than his hips. The second is about even.
I would call this as a very firm tackle but not worthy of sanction under the 'tip tackle' regs. But hey I still think rugby is a contact sport. :)
