Fa cup

Following the busy start to the new season the First Team were without a game this Saturday. Still revelling in their Emirates FA Cup success and belated thanks to the Chairman and Committee of the Conservative Club for kindly sponsoring the game and match ball. However, a busy week to come, Tuesday evening Kings Lynn Town Reserves visit Shoemakers Lane ahead of the trip to Bedford Town. A coach will be leaving town at approximately 12 noon, there are a few spaces available at £5.00 a seat with an admission charge of £9.00 at Bedford. Any interested parties please contact Secretary Ray Ewart (07990 526744) to confirm a place.
The Reserves continued with their preparation for the start of their League campaign, visitors Bradenham taking the bragging rights with a four nil win, ironically Swaffham having the better of the football play. The first game for the Reserves is away to Hingham Athletic on Tuesday and then on the road again Saturday to Hempnall.
The Under 18's got their first League fixture off to a good start, a convincing seven one victory over local rivals Fakenham Town. Seven different scorers on the night from a sterling performance by the Young Pedlars, Cameron Lee, Korben Willis, Tommy Hunt, Kieran Bruce, Aaron Smith, Jake Slender and Harvey Neil the magnificent seven. Top of the League by default as the only game played, a rest week next, their game versus Aylsham postponed due to ground availability.
