Paul Hunt Returns

It is with regret that Swaffham Town FC announces the departure of manager Rob Taylor. We would like to place on record our thanks to him for the time he was with us and wish him all the best for the future.

We are pleased to mention that a familiar face down the lane has agreed to step back in charge of the 1st Team for his second tenure at the club; welcome back Paul Hunt.

For those who were not aware Paul worked hard along with his squad to regain promotion to the Thurlow Nunn Premier Division in his previous reign but he unfortunately had to step down due to the fact he was opening a new business.

After speaking to Hunty today he made it clear that he was glad to be back in charge at the club and he was looking forward to the challenge of attempting to sustain the team in the premier division. He made it clear that he will continue our legacy of improving the youth players at the club which he will be able to keep a close eye on whilst running the U18's alongside Sam Loomes.

It is a fitting place to leave this article by wishing Paul and the squad the best of luck for the forthcoming season.

Kind regards,

Mark Titmarsh
On behalf of the STFC committee
