1-1

Honour's even at a very wet Walks, the persistent rain making conditions difficult for both sides. The Linnets broke the deadlock in the thirty fifth minute, Matthew Prudence levelling for the Pedlars three minutes before half time. A scrappy second half as it was always going to be, the local rivalry and conditions never a good combination for attractive football. Some excellent saves from keeper Kevin Cross demonstrating his form, at his opposite end, Aaron Watson doing enough to keep the score level. Next weekend the Pedlars are host to AFC Sudbury Reserves.
The Reserves took the lead against Beccles Caxton through a Sam Loomes penalty in the first half only to see their advantage snatched away by two second half Beccles goals. A promising performance from the Swaffham Reserves, opportunities missed, hitting the crossbar twice, the game leveller or winner never to appear. Next weekend they travel to Hemsby.
The weather the victor once again with the Under 18's, this Thursday they are at home to Downham Town in the Thurlow Nunn Youth Cup competition, planning to put a mark on their cup campaign.
