It may be the time of the year where some of the playing staff are off on their holidays and relaxing before the season ahead, but I can ensure you behind the scenes it's one of the busiest times of the footballing calendar for the committee. It is no secret that a huge part of the success behind grass roots football rides on support from local companies and individuals who are generous enough to believe in what you are doing and sponsor/advertise with the club.

You've seen in the elite leagues of professional football the increase in costs and it's no different within grass roots football and its becoming more and more important to build and sustain close relationships with companies and individuals within the surrounding towns and villages.

We have a fantastic group of hardworking individuals within the club who give up a great deal of their spare time to do the jobs behind the scenes which some people would no doubt take for granted, however we are now starting to see many local businesses and individuals getting on board to share our vision for the season ahead, and this is something I would like to thank the following individuals/companies for.

Our Clubs Objectives:

 To improve the facilities of the club both on and off the pitch to provide a better experience for players and supporters whenever they chose to visit the club
 Continue to provide great coaching recourses in the community, improving standards in the schools and encouraging children to enjoy football at all levels.
 Develop the capability of our youth players and continue to grow youth team numbers, ensuring that we are consistently represented at county level
 To strengthen the clubs financial position and secure its future by developing a commercial enterprise that is self-financing and generating income to reinvest within our sporting community
 To improve on our standard of football played and aim at competing at the highest level possible
 To engage within local businesses encouraging them to partner with us to achieve our objectives and develop sport in our region
 Raise money to improve and modernise the playing surface and ground flood lights to increase supporter and player enjoyment when using our facilities
 To look at the possibility of re introducing girls & ladies football ensuring that football is a sport accessible to all.
