Swans U 17 started off their 2011 campaign in fine style with an impressive victory over Salisbury.

The first half was a close call all the way with neither team able to capitalise on possession, and defence on both sides holding steady.

The second half started with a lucky interception by Salisbury, which they quickly converted. Swans immediately lifted their game and started a constructive demolition of Salisbury and their defence. They had no answer to a very powerful rolling maul and this was eventually converted into a try.

Soon the boys realised that they had total control of the game, and despite the best efforts f Salisbury, they continued to pressurise the opposition and managed to run a total of five tries in, two of which were converted by Jacob Warren.

Try scorers: Ryan Biles, Kirk Jones, stephen fytche, Chad Tunley, Albert Watkins.

A great start to the season.
