Swansea grabbed their only their second victory of the season as they comfortably beat Bristol at Sketty Lane on Wednesday.

Early on both outside halves slotted penalty goals, but despite constant Swansea pressure, the visiting defence held firm 'till half time. Swansea started the second half strongly and added to their tally through an Aled Lewis penalty early on. The home side started working through the phases and getting quick ball, which lead to a cross field kick in which winger Elliot Jones pounced on to score in the corner. Swansea were spending large parts of the game parked on the visitors line, Bristol managed to hold out another attack by holding the ball up over the line, the home side were rewarded with a 5 meter scrum. This resulted in Swansea shoving their opposition over the line for the number 8 to score. Lewis is slotted the extras.

As the game went on, it was a case of more of the same from Swansea who again were awarded a scrum from 5 meters out, the green and whites again pushed the visitors and resulted with another touchdown for the number 8. Swansea put the result out of the visitors reach when centre Huw Grundy scored from 15 meters out. Bristol did bounce back with two breakaway try's, but the result was never in doubt. Swansea will not play again for 7 weeks as there are no fixtures during the Christmas and examination period. Next fixture is on the 25th of January, 2012 versus Exeter University on Sketty Lane.
