For every empty ink cartridge and used mobile phone that you recycle, Uplands Rugby club will receive the benefit.
So far (since October)with a few cartridges and a few phones that have been sent in from members we have some £20 coming back to the club, so this really does work and I urge everyone to pick up an envelope from the club and send back your used printer cartridges and old mobile phones.
How does this work?
Easy Solution, pick up a free post mailing envelope located in the bar area at the club and just simply post back with your recycling material.
Of some 60 million inkjet cartridges used each year in the UK, only about 10% are recycled. This means that roughly 54 million cartridges get thrown away each year and end up in landfill sites or are incinerated. Inkjet cartridges will take about 1,000 years to decompose in landfill sites
Support your club, collect your empties as part of your recycling routine and help recycle today for a cleaner tomorrow.
