As I’m sure that most of you will have heard by now, Frank Jose, who is one of our original founding members, sadly passed away yesterday following complications during surgery.
Frank epitomised what Tadley Rugby Club is all about. He worked tirelessly during the early years to ensure the club continued to grow and could still be seen more recently selling match day programmes to supporters on the touch line.
How fitting it was that he was able to voice his pride on the BT Rugby tonight programme last week. A true mark of the man who was clearly feeling very poorly by this stage.
As a mark of respect, the following “periods of reflection” need to be honoured:
Weds 04/10 - 1 minute silence before the EGM (completed)
Sat 07/10 – 1 minute silence before the start of each match
Sun 08/10 – U6, U7, U8, U9, U10, U11 & U12s - 1 minutes silence followed by 30 seconds of applause at 09.15am (to allow for late arrivals) altogether on the 1stXV pitch in one huge circle.
Sun 08/10 - Junior Managers, all 5 age groups are starting at different times which makes it hard to consolidate everyone together. Can we suggest that you speak to referees and manage your own 1 minute silences home or away.
