Today was the funeral for our friend Chris McEwen, Junior Chairman, Club supporter and all round gentleman. Chairman Alex Sandland gave a eulogy and the Club was represented by over a dozen of the players, parents and coaches who were proud to pay their respects at Hargrave Church.
We know how much he meant to all who came into contact with him in the Club and the wider cricket community. His memory will live on with the under 9 trophy at the Tattenhall Junior Cricket Festival named in honour of the man who devoted so much of his time to helping juniors enjoy the game he loved so much. He will be sadly missed at The Flacca.
