VS MATAMATA
Both Taupiri Senior A's and B's went down to Matamata at Matamata. Taupiri B's had moments to steal the win, but a more determined Matamata B's held on to secure a 30-20 victory and left Taupiri empty handed. In the A's game, Matamata stormed to a healthy lead early on before Taupiri clawed back into the match before halftime. The second half started promisingly for Taupiri, but the superior fitness and skill of Matamata showed as they closed out the match 40-19.

VS FRANKTON
Both Senior teams showed great resolve from the previous weeks losses at the hands of Matamata, and recorded comfortable victories over Frankton at Taupiri. Taupiri B's finished with a well deserved 33-14 win, while Taupiri A's racked up plenty of points to overpower their Frankton counterparts, 48-8.

VS PIRONGIA
Played under lights in the bitter cold at Pirongia, both Taupiri teams came away with solid wins. Taupiri B's were impressive in beating Pirongia B's 31-7. Not to be out-done, Taupiri A's kept Pirongia A's score-less in winning this match 34-0.
