After some tuff times, the club has finally been able to proceed and complete some very important projects.....

Since the commencement of the 2011 season, the club embarked on some rather large and expensive projects, which without the help of Pub Charity, TECT and First Sovereign Trust these projects would not have been possible....

Project 1:

Upgrade of lighting of field 3 & surrounding training areas....at a cost of $52,000 the club is due to complete the full upgrade of field lighting on field 3 and around the embankment, providing far better quality training lights. This project will be completed on or before the 10th December 2012.

Thanks to - Stewart Brown Electrical, Tauranga City Council, Tect and First Sovereign Trust

Project 2:

As most members should be aware, the windows overlooking the estuary have been in rather poor condition due to detoriation of framing and structure, the club has been forced to fully replace and upgrade these windows.

At a cost $29,000, it wouldn't have been possible without the support of "Pub Charity" to fully upgrade the windows to opening aluminum windows. It is envisaged that this project will be completed by 23rd December 2012...

Up and coming projects for club in 2012:

Kitchen facilities - making them modern and giving the club more opportunity's in catering and hall bookings. Equipment required - dishwasher, stainless steel centre bench for cooking and preparation, commercial gas hobs etc

Roof of club rooms - repairing and upgrading of main roof

Field 2 lighting - upgrading training lights to better quality

The club would be very grateful, if any member or supporter could provide assistance or donate product that would help us achieve these goals much quicker.....

Have you seen these?
