Costessey sports Tournament
Testing Time for the U7s
This weekend like so many of the other Taverham teams, the U7s were at Costessey Sports Club on Longwater Lane, playing in their summer Tournament. We had a tough time, playing against some strong teams, but managed to get a few wins under our belts which kept the lads spirits up.
Parents enjoyed better weather than of late, and I think we all came away feeling that we’d watched the boys play some good football, despite some of the results not necessarily reflecting all of the standard of football that Taverham played. Nevertheless we've taken away some valuable lessons again.
Well done to all the boys, particularly the goal scorers!
