Where to Get your kit
All the minis and juniors kit with the exception of contact age group shirts are sold in Batemans in Stroud, including all our branded gear. Although most good sports shops will have most of the gear you need to play.
If you play in any mini or junior team U9's and older. You should get your match shirt from the club. Just ask your coach and they will help. U6's U7's and U8's should purchase their shirts at Batemans in Stroud.
What you need.
1. All players whatever age need to have a pair of boots to play.
We don't allow them to play in trainers.
2. All players playing contact rugby MUST wear a gumshield. They will not be allowed to play without one. They are fairly cheap and can be bought in any sports shop like batemans.
3. They should wear black rugby shorts. Shiny football style shorts should be avoided as they rip easily! Batemans stock shorts.
4. They should wear black socks with a gold top. Official ones are stocked in batemans.
5. Match shirts are obtained from the club if you play contact, or from Batemans if you play tag. The tag teams shirts are warmer and have long sleeves, hence the younger ones wear them.
6. We recommend a good undershirt to help keep them warm.
7. Some players wear scrum caps to help with confidence, which is fine.
8. Minis and juniors can wear prescription sports goggles if they usually wear glasses.
9. They should take off anything with zips before they play.
