Both the Baris NCEL Premier Division and Division One title races took twists and turns on another enthralling day of action on Saturday.

Retford United have returned to the top of the Premier Division after they thrashed visitors Nostell Miners Welfare, 10-1.

Goals from Warren Hatfield, Adam Colton, Carl Snowdon and Karl Slack helped them to a 4-1 lead by the interval.

Hatfield completed his hat-trick, Colton and Slack each found the net for a second time and Adam Scott got a brace of his own in the second half to complete the rout.

The Badgers go back above Bridlington Town who went down 2-1 at Staveley Miners Welfare.

Ryan Damms' injury-time penalty snatched the win for the home side after Nathan Cook had cancelled out an earlier spot kick from Damms with five minutes to go.

A Tom Matthews hat-trick helped Brighouse Town to a 4-2 home victory over Pickering Town to keep them in third position ahead of Scarborough Athletic who beat visitors Armthorpe Welfare 6-0 with Ryan Blott netting five of their goals.

A 4-1 win at home to Arnold Town made sure Winterton Rangers kept fifth spot, one point ahead of Parkgate who won 5-0 at basement side Selby Town with Nathan Swindells scoring four.

Maltby Main moved out of the bottom two with a 1-0 home victory over Lincoln Moorlands Railway, a win that dumps their opponents into the relegation zone.

Rob Branagan got the vital goal on 51 minutes against a Railway side who were reduced to nine men during the match.

Braces from Nathan Cartman and David Boardman helped to secure a 5-2 victory for Liversedge at Hall Road Rangers whilst Barton Town Old Boys went one better, winning 5-1 at Tadcaster Albion.

Division One leaders Handsworth have had their lead at the top cut to three points after they were beaten 3-1 at Glasshoughton Welfare.

Alex Booth had the hosts ahead by the break before Lee Bennett doubled their advantage on 53 minutes.

Faffy Gwindi pulled one back for Handsworth but Liam Radford made sure of the points in injury time to move Glasshoughton up into third.

Second-placed Worksop Parramore won 5-2 at Louth Town, with Gavin Allott netting twice whilst Paul Staniforth, Lee Holmes and Liam Morris all got on the scoresheet.

Will Ramsay's injury time winner in a 2-1 victory at AFC Emley means that Pontefract Collieries are now guaranteed a top five spot.

Rossington Main and Eccleshill United kept their sixth and seventh positions, respectively, with away wins.

Brandon Fallon and Shaun Pendleton scored for Rossington in their 2-0 victory at Shirebrook Town whilst Charlie Flaherty got both Eccleshill's goals as they won 2-1 at Worsbrough Bridge Athletic.
